I learned over this past weekend that Sarah Rosen (Potomac Pirates) was killed in an automobile accident on Friday, September 30. My heart goes out to her friends, family, and teammates. This is a sad time for all of us. Below is a note from her friend and colleague, Peter Cressy:
In accordance with the traditions of her faith services and burial were held in New York City this morning. Because Sarah had so many friends and colleagues here in Washington we will hold a simple Memorial Service for her here at the DISCUS Offices on Thursday morning at 11:00am (1250 Eye Street NW, Washington, DC). You are welcome to join us to celebrate Sarah s life. She was a gracious and joyful colleague, and she will be greatly missed. Notes of condolence can be sent to Sam and Edna Rosen, her parents, at Apartment 17D, 10 Waterside Plaza, New York, NY 10010. Contributions in her name can be made to:
