Adams Morgan Referee Clinic Make-up Clinic Scheduled posted by adamsmorgan on April 18th
For all of you who were too captivated by the roving Popemobile and couldn’t make it to the reffing clinic on Wednesday, I have good news! We’ve scheduled two make-up clinics next week beginning 30 minutes before the start of the first games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you are unable to attend either of these clinics, please email me any questions you have about the game and rules. I will recap here just a few things that were discussed this week:
- Physical aggression will not be tolerated and may result in eviction from game, suspension for the season or banishment from the league.
- A foul is a foul is a foul. If a foul ball is not caught by a player but makes contact with the attempting catcher, the ball is dead.
- Since we are not at Walter Pierce, there is no automatic-double rule. If the ball goes far, run your way home.
- Teams are required to field a minimum of 8 players, with a minimum of 4 girls. If you do not have enough players to meet these minimums, you are allowed to substitute a player from another team for any regular-season game. Substitutions are not allowed for post-season, all-star and championship play.
- All players MUST be wearing their DCK T-Shirts in order to be eligible to play in any game.
- Teams must take the field no later than 15 minutes after the scheduled start of the game. Teams not meeting the eligibility requirements will be marked as a forfeit.
- There are no bathrooms at the field, so take care of business before you arrive.
