Due to the great response received, our previous venue will NOT be able to accommodate all of our guests comfortably. As a result, this Thursday’s benefit happy hour for Put Your Best Foot Forward benefiting Alexandria and Arlington’s disadvantaged job seekers is being moved to Rumors at the corner of 19th and M Street in Washington DC, conveniently located between Farragut North and DuPont Circle South metro.

In addition to over $1000 of raffle prizes with drawings at approximately 45 minute intervals, with this new venue comes with the following improved perks:

• An earlier start time of 6:00PM
• One free shooter to the first 50 arrivals!
• $3 house wine, rail drinks, and domestic beer until 8:30PM
• Access to a great patio if the weather cooperates
• A private area in the back of the bar
• More TVs to watch March Madness

Grant Thornton LLP and Friends Put Your Best Foot Forward Community Consortium will hold a workshop on April 7th to help disadvantaged Arlington-Alexandria residents acquire the vital skills to find employment. All proceeds from this happy hour will directly benefit this cause and its non-profit community partners.
