- Should any team be unable to fill 8 players, substitutions may be made from other teams.

This site is awesome. I wish I had the creative flair and energy to make a site half that cool. Sure, the people who run this “organization” are dedicated to destroying kickball, but what else is a good Marxist guerrilla going to do with themselves these days? Sipping espresso at Kramerbooks and railing against the World Bank gets old.
Mid-Season Party posted by district on September 20th
Our Mid-Season Party is going to be September 22nd at 18th and Red in Adams Morgan! Here are the details:
- $10 for DCKickballers ($20 for guests) gets you a wristband for the open bar.
- Bar is open from 9 to midnight and includes rail drinks, domestic drafts, and house wines.
- You will be partying it up with the Constitution league. (Read more opportunities to “meet” people).
- We will possibly have a karaoke kontest and other fun mixers where we will collect cash donations for charity.
- Any proceeds above cost will benefit “Limbs for Life”—the folks who bring you “Kicking for Kids Who Can’t.” Check out their website and this awesome video at the links at the end of the email.
So a couple of you have expressed that this date is Yom Kippur. Your faithful board did their damndest to find a good date for the party and this is the best one. But don’t worry! Because a) Yom Kippur ends at sundown so I knew at least a couple of you who are planning on coming straight from temple (hells yeah Orna!) and b) there will be more DCKickball parties to come this season!

Hey everyone. I am almost done refunding registration fees for Captains and Board Members. If you are a Captain (Co-Captains do not count) or a Board Member who has not received a refund, please email me. Refunds (and almost all disbursements) are being handled through PayPal. If you have a preferred email address that I should use for the PayPal payment, please let me know that also.
Which then leaves me with Referral Rewards. There are 36 people who will be receiving Referral Rewards. I believe the high number was 9 ($45) and the total amount of Rewards being disbursed will be $425. Good job! I will try to have all Reward payments sent out by the end of next week at the latest (9/14).
Update: I’ve been swamped, and will not get to these payments until next week, 9/21 at the latest. Thanks for your patience!
