To help raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and dominate in the world of Flip Cup for amazing bragging rights!

Come join DC Kickball as we float on down the river on a lazy Sunday afternoon! We’ll take care of getting the buses and arranging the tubes, you BYOB and make sure you don’t over sleep!

We’ll gather for an early brunch /Mimosa & Bloody Mary Bar at Front Page Arlington (Metro Accessible).

Then we’ll load up two buses and head out to Front Royal Tubing to spend 3-4 hours hours floating down the beautiful Shenandoah river.

Schedule:

• 11:30 AM – Floating down the river with friends!
• 4:00 PM – Approximate Departure from the Tubing Location
• 6:00 PM – Approximate return to Arlington

Do’s

• Invite Lots of friends!
• BYOB – (every 4 tubers get a FREE Tube for your cooler (12-18 can size))
• Wear Lots of Sunscreen!
• Make new friends!

Don’ts

• No Flipfops! You must have water shoes, old tennis shoes, or Sandals (They must have a ankle straps)
• NO GLASS! No cut feet! Enough said

The trip down the river typically takes 3-4 hours but is dependent on water levels. Front Royal Canoe has food available for purchases after the trip (Snacks, Hot Dogs, Burgers) if you are hungry. To help you drown your sorrows away in style, DCKickball, along with our buddies at United Social Sports and NAKID, have rented out an ENTIRE MOVIE THEATER so you can watch it with 279 of your closest pals from the various kickball, bocce, beer pong, dodgeball, etc leagues.  $15 gives you a movie ticket AND 2 Bud Lights before or after the movie at Clyde’s.  Hells yeah!

HOW:  Spring teams MUST register to secure a spot

Flipcup squads are made up of 8 players with unlimited subs. If you have a ton of people, you can field multiple squads.  The format is pool play followed by bracket play.  That means your team is guaranteed to play AT LEAST 9 rounds of best-of-5 flip cup games against 9 different teams.  WHOA.  So yeah, prep your livers NOW.

Captains (or designated flip cup leaders), register ASAP to reserve a spot for your team.  We are capping the tournament at 20 teams! Costumes, themes or just your plain ‘ol kickball t-shirts are highly encouraged so we can tell teams apart.  Spring teams, you can register here.

Summer and Fall teams, you’ll have your own Flip Cup Tournament later in the year.  Hooray!

NOTE:  Due to an accidental double booking, the Boat Cruises are now in AUGUST and SEPTEMBER.  Huzzah!

• WHAT:  3-hour PREMIUM (Absolut, Dewars, Jack, Bombay, Heineken, Amstel Light, Bud, wine, etc, etc) OPEN BAR on the Cherry Blossom Paddle Boat.  This time we’re adding a FOURTH bar on the boat!
