Fall 2008 Season

The Fall 2008 District season has come to an end. The “A” Team defeated The Team Formerly Known as Purple Rain in the Fall 2008 District Championship title match on the National Mall. The final score was 6-0. This capped off an intense day of play by all the teams, but it was a dominating performance by The “A” Team that sealed the deal.

We hope everyone had a great time this season and that everyone will be back for the Spring 2009 season!

A little bit about District:

• When: Thursdays, 6:30pm/7:15pm
• Where: The National Mall (15th St and Constitution) MAP
• Bar: The Exchange (1719 G Street NW)
• Sponsor Drink Specials: $8 Dos Equis pitchers and $3.70 Heineken Lights
• Refs: We are a self reffing league, so every team provides referees each week for games
• Equipment: Each team is responsible for taking home equipment once a season
• Flip Cup: You won’t find more intense games of flip cup anywhere in DC!

Thursday, July 31: First round of games! MAP

Saturday, September 6: Mid Season party at Union Pub! (Click for details)

Saturday, September 27: Playoffs on the mall starting at 10:30am. Stay tuned for a bracket and schedule.

Saturday, October 4: RESCHEDULED PLAYOFFS 10:30 AM
